Axinib 1mg Tablet is an anti-cancer medicine used in the treatment of kidney cancer.
Axitinib is used in combination with avelumab or pembrolizumab to treat advanced renal cell carcinoma. Axitinib is in a class of medications called kinase inhibitors. It works by blocking the action of an abnormal protein that signals cancer cells to multiply.
Before taking it, tell your doctor if you have thyroid problems, liver or bleeding problems or are taking any medicines to treat infections. Diarrhea, nausea, vomiting, loss of appetite, dizziness, tiredness/weakness, temporary hair loss, weight loss, cough, headache, altered sense of taste, hoarseness, constipation, or upset stomach.
How to use Axinib Tablet
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Axinib 1mg Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.
